Flagstaff has quite a few great coffee shops. Here’s the best of the best.
Single Speed Coffee Roasters
If you’re a coffee connoisseur you’re going to want to go to Single Speed. It is pretty much the only place I go to since they opened. If you are into specialty coffee they are the only place in town serving it. Their coffee is on point and they also have really lovely and well-made seasonal drinks, like a smoked rosemary and maple latte. It’s really the only place I stray from my go-to cappuccino or cold brew.
It’s located just outside of the downtown area in an unassuming commercial space. The perk of this is easy parking in their lot out front.
Also, don’t let their small ordering area fool you. If you need a place to work, they have a secondary seating/working space upstairs.
Lux North
Lux is a high-quality Phoenix coffee shop with a location in Flagstaff. Their downtown location is tiny, and while they do offer a small seating area, I wouldn’t come here for anything but to go.
For such a small location, they have an impressive offering of sweet and savory pastries.
Firecreek Coffee Company
Firecreek is another high-quality Phoenix coffee shop with a location in Flagstaff. In addition to their cute front room that is perfect for a coffee date, they have a large back room that serves as a decent remote workspace, though it is not super aesthetically pleasing or cozy. They also serve beer and coffee-themed cocktails.
Flagstaff Station Market Cafe
Located *just* outside of town on Highway 180 is charming Flagstaff Station Market Cafe. This is a good place to stop if you’re headed to the Grand Canyon or Arizona Snowbowl. They have two different outdoor patios to choose from (one even has outlets!) and even live music at times.
The cafe offers hot and takeaway food options, as well as other beverages (like canned beer) and goodies like local honey.
